Welcome to St Wulstan’s Catholic Primary School
Mission Statement
Our school mission statement “We come to school to love, learn and share in the light of Jesus.”
At St Wulstan’s Catholic Primary School, we strive to follow in God’s footsteps, guided by His teachings. We are committed to fostering a nurturing environment where every individual is respected, valued, and included. Our school is a place of love, learning, and sharing, where peace, happiness, and truth are at the heart of everything we do.
We aim to create a community that reflects God’s love, ensuring that everyone feels supported and cherished. Together, we thank God for making St Wulstan’s a welcoming, joyful, and inspiring place to be.
Our values are -
Love: We grow in the knowledge that God loves us no matter who we are or what we do and wants us to follow his way showing love, care and respect for all around us.
Learn: Through our daily curriculum, underpinned by our Gospel Values, all children in our care develop a thirst for learning, are eager and ready to learn and will grow to become lifelong learners.
Share: Through our faith community and in the spirit of giving, we share our learning experiences, our care and respect for others and our resources.
St Wulstan's Catholic Primary School Graduates from the Department for Education Behaviour Hubs Programme
We are delighted to share the news that St Wulstan’s Catholic Primary School has successfully graduated from the Department for Education Behaviour Hubs programme. This marks a significant milestone in our journey to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for all our children.
Over the past year, we have worked collaboratively with some of the country’s leading schools as part of this prestigious programme. Through their guidance and expertise, we have refined and strengthened our approach to behaviour management, ensuring that our policies reflect best practice and foster a culture where every child can thrive.
Our robust behaviour management policy has been designed to promote respect, resilience, and responsibility, and we are proud of the positive impact this has had across the school community. We are committed to maintaining the high standards set during our time in the programme and continuing to support the holistic development of all our children.
